hello guys, just wanted some opinions on what you guys think is better a 160 fsb at 960 or a 154 at 1002? just ask becausing this seem kind of close in terms of speed so wanted someone elses opinion thanks:)

the 1ghz one. It sounds better(i got a gigahertz ;D) and the extra mhz probably outweighs the minimal fsb increase/
With the lower fsb you may also be able to run your memory faster. What are you ram timings at right now.

8 8 8 2 6 2 2 possibly 2.5 can't quite remember. at 154 i get sisandra scores of 644 and 855
Go for the 1 ghz speed. It is such a small change in fsb speed that it will not have a noticable differance. 1 gig puts you in a differant club :)
BTW just curious what are you using to cool the Duron? I have a very lame Duron 750 that I just use for testing when I get some crazy idea that I have to try out :) In order to get it to hit 1 gig I had to cool it to -23C and zap it with 2.4 volts!
I have 2 friends that also have Duron 750's and they are not good overclockers either.

i believe a cooler master hsf used for tbirds. i idle at 40 or 41 usually. my vcore is at 2.06 or so. hmm my duron seems to kickbutt kind of surprised you said that

LoL....my duron 750 was made to overclock! 1.888v, 1012mhz, 6.5X156. I can't complain.....I am doing the voltage mod on my a7a266 to get 2v-2.1v, and then i will pump her up to 1080+. I can't wait!
Those FSB and CPU speeds are fairly close. With numbers like those I might be inclined to suggest you go with whichever gives you lower temps if it were not for one factor. That 1000+ looks might attractive! Comparitively the difference between 800 and 900 doesn't seem like too much but 999 to 1001 is miles away. Go with the 1002. And don't forget to advertise it!
