AVIA # v.s AXIA Y

Ok, I had a 1.2 TBird AVIA 9 I think it was an I couldn't even get it to 1201!! After that the chip fried itself and wouldn't even run @ 1200. So I sent it back and have recieved an AXIA Y which I will try and get to 1.4.

Anybody got any suggestions as to how??

I was thinking 107 x 10.5 but for this I need PC133 right? Got this but last time I tried it wouldn't even boot, old CPU. Will try the new one and keep you posted.

Also get a stick of pc133 I think that is holding you back go for 133x10.5 or 133x11 for 1466.

AVIA/AXIA "9" CPUs seem to top out around 1400 typically. "Y" CPUs do better often exceeding 1500 with high-end air cooling. You got a good CPU the second time around.
