Everytime in the past when downloading a file form the net I always get asked where I would like to save my file to.
Now whenever I download a file it just downloads to a temporary folder and opens automatically afterwards, this is a pain since I can't direct the file to where I want it.
Does anyone know how I can fix this so I have control over the files I download again.

yep looked there already.
just had enougher good look through the options, nothing in there to fix it.

Tools --> Folder Options --> File Types

Select the type of file you are trying to download, for example zip files, scroll down to ZIP

Then click the advanced tab, and check the box "Confirm open after download" click ok, poof it should work.

while waiting for the solution, i would suggest you to download "flashget"

this one is the BEST downloading managing program out there.

it has SPEED and everything you ever DREAM of
