trouble with avatars.

i'm having trouble putting an AV up. it keeps saying file is to big. my av is 119x119 and 7.4K 10240B is 10K isn't it?

I just uploaded my avatar and it didnt give me any trouble. Are you sure the whole image is 119X119? becuase sometimes i select the image and scale it down but i forget to scale down the backround behing it was well. Could that be it?

in photoshop i did image > image size and set both fields to 119

huh i have no idea then. Your sure its under 10240 bytes? Pm it to me and ill try. It could be a problem with your account.

The uploader has had problems before... Maybe it's having them again. (I think the image size requirements somehow got messed up before and were set to almost nothing)

I would check your image attributes in mspaint - simple program to make sure there aren't any mistakes being made.

got it. when you save an image in photoshop it has the size and download speed at the bottom when you save an image as .jpg and you slide the quality slider.

i had to open it in ACDSee and save it with lower quality there.
