Ideas for my torch.

I'm always looking for new things to mod, and I recently came across a pencil torch at Big Lots. I got it home and immediately disfigured some army men. But what kind of computer stuff can I use it for?

you could disfigure your computer case and give it some awesome battle wounds. Or... you could melt army men to your case, hmm....

Or, I could do something useful. Not saying your idea doesn't sound like a blast, just saying I need something constructive to do. I'm thinking of disfiguring a GI-Joe and hanging it in my case with a noose. Very nice effect on computers, action figures have.

go buy like 3 and put 2 on the bottom of your case and one hanging from top forming 3 vertices of a triangle, then get something like a metal scuture of a computer and a person using it then rig up some switches so you can tyurn ity on and melt it imagine the Intimidation at LANs. and the CASE temp!!!

OK, like how big's the flame? If it's big enough, mount it in a drive bay and when your mom/sister starts listening to Shania, fire it up from a switch mounted on your keyboard or mouse and proceed to melt the CD! :mad: HaHaHaHa!

But a pencil torch...don't the majority of those use butane? I'm pretty sure they do, we have one in the garage and they fill off of butane I think...

Never lit it up, but I doubt they could get all too hot....but melting a toy soldier could be done with those, if you can do it w/a magnifying class and some patience :D

I guess I am a little late in the reply, but anyway. The fuel is regular butane out of a can/bottle. And the flame is roughly 3-4 inches.

And I don't have the parental-Shania problems. Nobody else is allowed to touch my computer. I've seen what they have done to their Gateway computer. Ugghh.
