Can't remove bar in IE

I need some help removing this bar in IE 6. Everytime I got into IE, this is right under the address bar and it just some dumb freeware that I have been unable to remove. I wanted to know if anyone here has some suggestions ?

What bar is it?

Try add/remove programs, try nuking everything in your c:\windows\downloaded program files, try ad-aware and spybot s&d

Besides that, take a look at the bar, find identication of some sort, google it, and find out how to uninstall it from there.

I tried the google search and it worked. I found out how to uninstall and finally rid myself of the torture of the bar.

Whenever I use IE (which is rarely), I always turn off both of the "AutoInstall" options in IE's advanced properties. That will stop anything from installing itself into my browser, or my computer.

I generally enjoy the challenge of hacking those stupid toolbars out of the registry, :) . But I also never install them, heh. glad you could get rid of it.


PS: Full metal panic is a good anime too :D
