I got my hands on a 1.2 AXIA T-Bird and it will only run stable at 1.4 on good days :( I have tried everything I can think of to help it (Different ram speeds, watercooling, raising voltage) The thing is it almost never goes over 33c at full load :(

Whats the max voltatge you can run to the chip. Whats the rest of your system specs. List all your hardware and we'll see if we can help.

Ive got an A7V-133, 192 megs of PC100 ram (i need to get some better stuff), umm TNT2Pro AGP 32meg card, Aureal Vortex soundcard and i think thats about it. I have to run the vcore at 1.92ish to get it to boot at 1.390ish (i forget the exact numbers)

Maybe there is somthing that I am missing, but if you set your cpu to 1.92 volts which i thought was impossible without the voltage mod then it should run at 1.92. I think that is definatly your problem right there. Also PC-100 memory aint cutting it. Upgrade to Kingmax PC-150 or Tonicom PC-166, it couldnt cost you more that $50 bucks for 256 megs of it.

Im not understanding what your saying with the voltage thing, i set my mobo to 1.85 and it gives me 1.92 and i know i need to upgrade the ram, but i have 10 dollars to my name.

My guess is he thought you called for 1.92V in the bios, not 1.85V. It's not unusual to get a little more voltage than you called for.

Last weekend, I bought a 1.2/266 AXIAR "Y". It would not go past 1450 Mhz. Heck, my 1.0G/266 AXIA "Y" does better. I took it back and since it was the last one, they gave me a 1.33 AYHJA "9" that barely goes beyond 1500! What's this world coming to? ;D

Well so far my 1.2 gig is unable to go past 1450mhz as well. Mine runs a little warm so that may be why.

Hoot, you went and bought a 1.2, even though they didn't come down in price!!
Where did you get it and how much, if I may ask?
I almost went that rout but opted for the 1 gig from newegg, and you know how that turned out!!

I impulse bought at a local Computer Show. It was the only 1.2 AXIAR "Y" at the show. Thought I would make the "big score". You are lucky that you bought from NewEgg. They have a great warranty process, based upon my own experience with them. I have been slowly working this 1.33 AYHJA "9" up and the best it has been able to achieve is 1540 Mhz. Still only barely better than my 1G AXIA "Y", which runs 1524 Mhz. The whole endeavor has left a bad taste in my mouth.
