Which ATI Catalyst driver is most suited for Windows XP Pro and 9600 Pro 128mb. I heard from around here that 3.7 is the most stable. But should i get the latest? please help me make the right choice

Or should i try all of them and see for myself?

The only downside I've heard about the 3.9 driver set is that some people are having issues with Call of Duty. I'd try them, and if everything seems to be working, they should be best. You can always roll back to the 3.7 or 3.8 drivers if 3.9 isn't working well.

Make sure you use the cat uninstaler if you roll back. I personaly use the 3.7 as I had issues with the 3.9s. artifacts and call of dudy problems.

I have tried the Cat 3.8 cat drivers and still get issues with call of duty, I think the 3.7 are the best (will install them tonight) but I heard some dodgy thing about blowing up monitors ???

Ive tried the Cat 3.8's and 3.9's and had problems with both in all my games , by being kicked back to to my desktop during 20-30 minutes of game play . Ive since reverted back to the 3.7's with much better results .
