How the hell do you get the heatsink off the Slot A cpu?

However you decide to do it, just remember no wood chissles and screwdrivers. I was actually idiotic enough to do it today and looks like i boned over my mobo... I gotta do some more tests tomarow but its not looking good. Just say no to wood chissels!

please edit your post to remove the swearing on your post. The oc.com forums does not tollerate swearing of any kind.

On removing it, look for some screws or clamps holding it in place. I am not sure about the exact method that AMD uses but this is the first step. It shouldn't take too much effort to remove it after that.
