While Tyan and AMD say that only MPs work with the new mobo, tomshardware.com remarks that the old t-birds work without noticable troubles. Since the tyan mobo runs at both 200 and 266 fsb would it be possible to buy a couple 1.4 t-birds with 200 fsb and then overclock them by setting the mobo to run an fsb of 266. This would give me that extra 33 %. Are the chips locked against this and will they take the hit? I realize I will need hella cooling, probably water cooled at least. I'm just wondering if the t-birds have enough overhead for it.
