i am using a FOP-32 with 72watt peliter. The cpu temp boots up around 28C and doesnt get much hotter then that.

Hardware:
1gig TBird 266
Abit KT7A-R
256mb Musklin pc133 rev. 3
Asus v7700 32mb ddr AGP card

I have tried my ram settings at trubo for all three timing settings and still can not get better then 143x8.5. If i lower the FSB i can post at 12.5@108 but will not go into windows. What am i doing wrong?

Have you adjusted the core voltage of your cpu ? They need more voltage to operate at higher speeds. Be careful tho, more voltage = more heat... be sure that you have it cool enough.

Also, have you tried setting the VIO voltage higher then 3.4? That is the same as the CPU voltage in respects that the RAM needs more power to run at higher speeds. By the way, what's the stepping on your CPU?
