Ok, when I goto burn the Image "the ISO" with easy cd and dvd creator 6.0, i goto creat a new bootable disc, then it shows me the box below.

which option do i select ?

I normally burn my ISO's as I normally would and they boot just fine, that counts for Linux distros and various other booting media, ive never tried it with a Smoothwall disc but I wouldnt have though it would be any different, you may want to try a Re-Writable media just to make sure though.

whenever i burn ISO's, onto cds

in nero i do

file -> burn image (something liek that) then i just choose iso and all the xtras and i burn

im not sure about the program you are using, its seems odd
but id go with no emulation if its meant to be burned on a cd

ok i did it in no emulation, so it opened up ther dics's dir, it shows

smoothwall-1.0.iso
BOOTCAT.BIN

shoudlnt it have extracted the iso to the disc when it burned it ? argh i had easy cd creator, guess ill have to download nero, its easyer.

EZcdcreater has the same option to burn image. Just do not go to create bootable disk.

ohhhhhhhhhh yeah, i knew i was doing something wron haha so easy to get those two confused, anyways thanks, i got it working :)
