After re-format, got a problem.

For some reason after re-formatting, when I bootup, it brings me to a screen that asks me to boot "Microsoft Windows" or "Microsoft Windows XP Professional." Of course I want the XP Pro. When I select Microsoft Windows, it just takes me into dos and says insert your setup cd..what gives? Can I get rid of this somehow? Thanks!:)

I believe you need to edit the boot ini, also you could go into system properties and chhose advance> startup and recovery>settings and just uncheck the time to display operating systems box.

If I uncheck this box will it know to boot into xp? I dont wanna screw anything up. Also can you be more specific as what to edit in the boot.ini
