In my bios it says that my t-bird is running around 41C.
I have a galaciator cooling it but it isn't lapped. I know this isn't an accurate temp but is that ok.
It isn't overclocked yet, 10x133, but I do want to overclock.

Heck yah that's ok.
As long as you keep things within reason you shouldn't have any problems overclocking. Just keep an eye on your temps and the overall stability of your computer and you should be fine. Run a bunch of stability tests and keep on truckin' til you hit the wall. Then drop her back down to where you were when you ran stable last.
Download radiate and plug in your numbers as you go along. Everything "should" match up within a couple degrees. If your numbers variate wildly from radiate then you might want to reevaluate your temp measuring technique. (Buy a thermistor.)

Yea I just bought a thermistor, so I that will give me much more accurate temps. I feel better that I am not running hot. Thanks for the info.
