DREAMWEAVER Help Plz

I'm building my first site in dreamweaver and I made it work great using tables to format the template. However now I'm trying to figure out how to point other web pages to the main browsing area. Do I really need frames? how can i make the white area a target?

I really need help with this..

You have to save the template as a template and when you create new file to base the template off of, select the template when you go to file > new.
