You will get a good debate going on here about that. Personal preference is either WW or 3R. I wonder what others will say. Also welcome to the forums.

Bios 4900.12 is By far the best BIOS ever to be released for the KT7 line of boards. I highly recommend this bios.
You will have to download a bios from the Abit site to get the flash utility cause this file does not come with one.

Good Luck!

This Bios you are showing is modified. I do not suggest you download it just yet. Take your time and read a bit about.them. here is a link for you to look at. A modified Bios can cause problems if not looked at carefully.

I got to admit I didn't like 3R at first, but after a couple of
tweaks the stability is awesome. Temps run a little high though.

Bios 4900.12 is even more stable than 3R. Before bios 3R with my 1GHz AXIA (266), my system wouldnt be stable at 1400 (133x10.5) no matter what voltage I used or whatever I did. Then, 3R came out and I decided to download it. BAM, I could finally boot with 1.8volts stable into Windows Me and Windows 2000. But then, this even more stable bios came out, and now,, I can boot with the voltage set to defualt in my KT7A-R bios. I'm am REALLY impressed with what Abit has done in this latest stability fix, WAY TO GO ABIT!

Anyhow, there is several mods in this bios that make it even better. You have my word that it works super on your Machine!

well, this morning I d/l the new bios, flashed it without any problems. Right now my 700 tbird is at 900 @1.89v. I've had it higher than that, but it was during winter when my temps were lower.
Maybe later today I'll see how much higher it can go :-)
