I am having trouble overclocking my athlon 1.333ghz system
I have an asus a7v133-c mobo
When i go into CMOS to up the CPU vcore, it goes up but my cpu stays at the same mhz. The only time i can get this to change is if i up the FSB and RAM mhz, which i dont want to take too high to avoid stuffing my ram up.

The reason for upping the vcore voltage on the CPU is for when you have reached the "peak" for the CPU while overclocking. At a certain undetermined point, you need to raise the CPU voltage in order to overclock the CPU even more. Just raising the voltage will not overclock at all.

Well basically i'm running at 1.3 and not 1.333 the only way this happens is if i up the fsb but upping that ups the mhz on my ram and my ram is pc 100 and i dont wanna phuk it. Upping the vcore from 1.5 seems to do **** all, my multiplier is at 12.5 as well as leaving the multiplier at 10.00 only lets my 1.333 bo a 1ghz, so i'm not sure what to do, considdering i used to be a manual overclocker with dip switches and jumpers LOL :-)
