Should I Lap this?

ok i just got my Maze3CPU block today and i can tell that i'm going to need to lap it, i also got a Maze4GPU block and i'm not sure if i should lap it or not, the middle square of copper only comes out about 1mm from the copper surrounding it, it is a pretty rough finish but i dunno if i should lap it with it not standing out that much

Yeah you can still lap it....

you shouldn't have to lap any of DD blocks (assuming you bought it new). They are lapped (not a mirror finish) but very flat

ok then, its not to a mirror finish, but it is new, and it feels pretty flat
