Is there suppose to be a resistor R35, located at the back of the board, in the middle and close to the slot-connector on the
Athlon Classic 700 slot A ?
cus its looks like it but theres no on mine so im quite nervous. my motherboard just popped 2 capacitators and im trying to figure out what happened before i try to replace them.

Welcome to the forums!
Is the missing resistor on the mobo or the chip itself? What mobo do you have?

Its on the back of the processor board, it looks like theres bees something soldered there but im not shure. The surface on the solderings spots looks little rugged and grey, not as smooth and shiny as the rest with no components. so i was thinking a resistor was soldered there cus it have the nr R35
but came loose for one or another reason. maybe something to do with the 2 capacitators that popped on my motherboard they where located on the mobo close to the slot connector.
the mobo is a Abit kA7 and the capacitors are 2200uf 6.3 v nr EC17 and EC18
