Welcome to the forums, How do you get 1250mhz? what are your settings?
ok i've got......
amd athlon 1000@1250
10x125fsb
ABIT KT7A
geforce 2mx (not overclocked)

That's pretty impressive as it is. Wish I could hit 166MHz FSB.
Don't know much about that board, but if it doesn't come with a 1/5 divisor then it could be a PCI component failure. More possible it's your memory. If it has an option to change your memory setting to Host Clock -33, then you may want to try that. If that does no good then it's probably your PCI bus.

Just because it's a 200FSB CPU, doesn't mean you HAVE to run it at that speed. Have you tried 10x133? You should be able to hit that with ease.
thats the problem.........i can get 1270 (10x127) but i cant get 1280 (10x128)
if i try it, i have to reset the bios to run it again.......
and i think its not the pci bus cause i can set it to 133/33 and my default setting is 100/33..........it must be something else..........i've heard that you couldn't overclock the newer amd cpus more than 200mhz at the fsb........but i can not change the multiplier........there must be a way!!!!
