For all you who have problems with KT7A, here's my best advice. Goto www.via.com.tw and download the new 4in1 software (version 4.32) then upgrade your BIOS to 3R. At first I ran into so many problems with my system until I did those two items. I was about to toss my whole system out the window and went back with Intel. I am now running very stable at 1450 Mhz (10x145).

Athlon TB 1.2 @ 1450 with Globalwin CAK38 1.85 Volt

Where do you get the 3r bios? The lastest on on abit's web site is

Filename: KT73C.EXE
Date: 06/11/2001
ID: 3C

It's beta, but it works great for me. I was having trouble getting past 133 FSB, plus my IDE hard drive and DVD would not work when I enabled DMA for them in Windows. I don't know if the BIOS or the new 4in1 did it, but all my problems are now solved. I have been very stable at 1450 (145x10) for a couple days now. Here's the beta BIOS link.

I found the bios here last night. It is apparently the 3r final.
