View Full Version : Will not detect hdd when using 10x100 1.8v KT7A. HELP! PLS!
I am using a KT7A board. CPU is a Tbird 850. I tried to use 10x100 to hit 1Ghz, Temps are into low 50c. It booted after a few blue stop screen from WIN2K Pro. After 2 sucessfull bootups it didn't boot anymore. After POST it came up with a message saying bad media and hit CLT+ALT+DEL to restart. Restarting results in the same message. I had to lower it to 100x9.5 to get it to boot using the same voltage. Please help! Thanks!

Have you tried putting a delay on the hard drives? I'm not sure if that would help, but it couldn't hurt anything
AMD TBird 850 currently @950 1.8v
Abit KT7A
Enermax PSU 350
Kingston PC133 128MB
2 50CFM Adda Case Fans
Chrome Orb
20G IBM Deskstar
SoundBlaster Live! (having problem with this too but planning to change soundcard soon) I did the BOIS adjustments per Abit website, didn't help abit.
Idle temp is 40c Full load is 58c
Is there just no way to fix this? Is it a problem with the harddrive?
