I turn your attention to a matter of interest:

In our December letter, which will be sent out to approximately 380,000 registered members of our various forums, as well as HotScripts.com, we will make mention of the "iNET Folding Team" on OC-Forums.com. I will post this portion of our newsletter here for your review and critique.

Let me know if this all makes sense, or if you have any questions or concerns!

As there are a lot of enthusiastic and expert folders here, perhaps we can help with this part of it.

The challenge to us all: Come up with a short statement for the team.

What should we include? What is F@H? Who we are? How to set F@H up and how to join the team?

Must be in a format suitable for a newsletter with a membership base of 380,000 of varying levels of computer literacy.

We have free publicity guys, let's grab the bull by the horns.

I'll post soon...

Great idea! Make sure to include how great of a cause it is. Include some links to the results and articles about it so people can see its not just some scam. Many people I tell about it just shrug it off and say it dosen't really do anything. I am a good writer so if we come up some good ideas I can come up with a really inviting type paragraph or whatever.

Some good Ideas can be mined from the "permission letter" that is floating around. Keep in mind we want to keep the article short yet informative so we don't bore them with biology. Definitly put a link to this forum where we can have much more in-depth info presented (reference the official folding info sticky).

We should also mention the competetive nature of folding so we can appeal to future folders that may not care as much about the science of the project and maybe just want to be a part of a team.

Great job keeping on top of this one, Cjwinnit! The team has been stagnating for a while and we need a fresh influx of members if we are to get competetive again. This could turn out to be better than any of Wedo's or Nik's borging efforts, but we need to take action and not let this one slip by.

Would iNET have a separate team or be a subteam under team32?

Ocforums.com 's Folding Team is iNET's team, and as such anyone on iNET who wants to fold should fold for us ;)

I would prefer to keep all folding local to OC-Forums.com, as it best fits this community

Essentially they fold as we do, individual users for the team.
