Can It Be Done?
Moding a laptop eg.. mobo, hhd, flopy to a desktop case
and just useing a desktop screen con it be done
ps: is there eny pics of athere ppl doing this or am i a lone laptop

Im sure it CAN be done, whether or not it is worthwhile is another question. Never heard of it being done though, good luck.

probably one of the easiest mods ever. just transplanting a laptop to a desktop case right?

if i didnt need my laptop right now (which i barely do) i would jump on that mod in a second.

cooling would be easy too if you mad some custom WC'ing.

The comp would suck compared to a desktop, but it would be neat in its own way.

it would take away the only purpose in which laptops are better than desktops, but the cooling would be a lot easier(even overkill, since laptop components are designed to operate at the lowest temperature possible).

i wouldnt do it, but if youve got the time, money, and think its worth it. go for it!

But how would you get the ports at the back of the mobo and the cd drive in line with the desktop 1s there laptop like modims at the site and usbs at the back
btw:im 13 and go noooo money just bourt nerly a half a grand of ram for my laptop:D

seems pointless... put the laptop on you desk plug in a monitor and call it a desktop.

my dad works at CAT and they all get Laptops they take them home and then at work put them under a shelf and plug them into their CRT monitors and away they go.
