I am having a weird problem with my integrated sound on my new intel d865gbf mobo. It plays all the sound, but a lot of times, when i click on something (like in IE, i hear the click) then i hear static for 1/4 of a second.

When playing mp3s with windows media player, I hear a weird sound before each song starts, a sound that sound slike someone scraping plastic for about 1/4 of a second.

And I hear a good bit out static (only hear it when the songs play quitely) out of the front left speaker...

the intengrated sound is Analog Devices AD1985 (SoundMAX 4 XL with AudioESP audio subsystem)

any ideas?

figured it out, I reinstalled the drives and installed the soundmax little driver configure. I selected to use 2 stereo speakers (default was 4 surround sound)...

Fixed it up
