Are they guaranteed to be BH-5 chips?
I've seen websites quoting 2-4-4-8 timing for them, is this accurate? Corsair web site says 2-3-3-7. Which one is correct?

Is it realistic to expect to run them @ DDR466 and Cas2?

There is also XMS 3500 Platinum, is it something different? What chips do they use? Are they better or just a cosmetic update?

Thanks

I dont know wether or not they have BH-5 chips...

but if Corsairmemories.com says 2-3-3-7 then that IS the correct one..
PC3500 will run cas2 @ 437mHz according to the timings you just showed, the odds of it doing the same at 466DDR is different with every module..
i dont know the platinum thingy either..

Here (http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/xms.html#xms) is a link to the Cosair XMS3500 page. At a glance I don't see any 2-4-4-8 sticks. Sorta an odd set of timings anyway.

It is just the color of the heat spreaders. Black or platinum function the same.
