DVD Burning Software

I need a recommendation for a good DVD burning program.

The man has had a DVD burner for months, and desperately wants to start his DVD collection.

Please recommend a reliable program, and that is easy to use.

What kind of DVD's? For making backups of movies, I would recommend DVD X Copy. They have a few different versions, but one should suit your needs if you want to back up DVD movies.

For just data, the proggie that came bundled with the drive should be sufficient. Easy CD Creator is also another easy program to use.

I'm not sure if he got any with the burner, otherwise he probably would have used it..

does Nero do anything with DVDs?

To backup a DVD use http://www.dvdshrink.org/ it's easy and has none of that legal mumbo jumble crapola

all u need is

DVD Decrypter for riping

DVD Shrink for editing

and u can use dvd decypter for burning and its free but i recommend nero ultra
