I recently read about setting your overclock straight into your BIOS - allowing you to avoid using any utilities and such, effectively setting your overclocked speed as your stock speed.
BAsically I am looking for a program that can extract the BIOS from my video card, another program to easily alter it (I don't know Hex at all, so I cannot use my trusty hex editor for this), and yet another one to flash it again :)
Thanks in advance, links are appreciated! :)

You need two apps; radedit, and flashrom.
I've uploaded the latest versions here;
Radedit;

Flashrom;
http://www.facekick.com/flashrom.zip
Both come with instructions and are fairly simple to operate. Radedit is a windows based proggie with a gui, whereas flashrom is a command prompt affair and MUST be run in a pure dos mode. A boot disk may be require to get into pure dos if you're using XP since XP has NO pure dos mode.
When you flash, the first thing I recommend is to backup your original bios and keep it in a safe place.
You can't realyl go wrong when flashing, and even if you do, you can blind flash your card back with the old bios if it ****s up and your comp boots with corrupt graphics or no screen at all. I've done this myself. Alternatively, if you haven't remembered the steps to blind flash, you can just shove in a pci vga card and use that to see the screen.

How do you dump the bios to change it?
