alright i have an abit kt7e, it is only set for 100fsb but i have a 750 duron at 1 gig (133 x 7.5) and the system temp is up to 33, the proccessor only gets up to 45c or so, but is the high system temps causing me problems (freezing and errors) or is it because i have the fsb so high over spec. thansk and by the way anyone ever buy fans from overclockerz.com because they are really cheap and im not expecting much but still would like to know, thanks.

The voltage and stuff is ok .... It can be IRQ problems like I had.. I replaced every part in my system and still had lockups ,blue screens and system rebooting itself. I betcha its an IRQ problem get sisoftsandra if you can and check if you have too many components on one IRQ. If you have a sound blaster card , go into device manager and disable Creative SB16 Emulation , that can also cause lockups etc... GL if you need any further help I can try my best or ask friends for you my ICQ is 92377457 and Aol instant messanger is ReTiCuLe1 , email is - ReTiCuLeX@si.rr.com

Try increasing it another notch. 45 C is a bit toasty, but it's not that bad. You may want to try to get it lower, though. I'm not all that wise about when AMD chips become unstable. You should try to lower your temps before the voltage change.

As for overclockerz.com, you should be a bit cautious. There's nothing about them on resellerratings.com. Look around. I believe millisec.com and plycon.com has some good prices

just from what ive read here the 750's sometimes take a touch more voltage to break the 1 gig barrier with good stability 45c is really not that bad and not bad enough to warrant instability, in my opinoin.
is your psu 300 wats or more?

ya its a 300watt psu i dont think its a irq conflict because if i dont oc none of the problems happen, and the system temp is down to like 28 - 30 without the higher fsb.

Well if when you overclock it messes up that means you have an IRQ problem probally because if the irq is conflicting with something it won't wana overclock. Ask azzkiker hill even tell you, and 300 watts isn't enough go askem.

a few case mods and i bet your temps would be fine at one gig, im betting its your v-core like i said some of the durons require more than 1.85 to run stable at one gig or brake one gig

true.....the duron 750 i had could only do 990 at 1.85v.......but it cracked so now i m using a duron 600 that can only do 990 at 1.85v.....

what's wrong with my comp? i never seem to be able to get higher than 1ghz.....grrrr
