Getting More Ram

Hi. I have an ASUS A7A266 and 512 mb of ddr pc2100 184-pin ram. I have 2x256mb stciks and only 2 slots for ddr. If i want a gb i will need to remove the 256mb ones. i can get to a 1gb by having 2x512mb or 1 1024mb. Could someone please tell me how much it will cost. I don't want to pay a lot. Thanjs for all of your help.
