P4P800 And 533mgz proggy

Im buying this board tomarrow. The guy at the shop said it will run with a 2.4b and PC2700 ram until i get the upgraded proggy and ram. Is this true? I havent read the docs for it but the box says nothing about 533mgz proggy. Sooo what i really want to know is if the board is backwards compatable is all.

Thanks. Im gonna borrow your timeings LOL. As a base line to start when it gets here. We have the same Proggy. Same Stepping and all. Lapped mine to mirror finish. And i was scared to go past 2.8 on Custom air. LOL. Cant wait.
