View Full Version : Duron 800
I recently overclocked my duron 800 to 856 without having to bridge the L1 connectors and with little cooling. However when i tried to overclock it a little more , the computer wouldn't boot. could this be because not enough cooling, my vcore(1.5) or the L1 bridges?

It could be all of the above quite honestly. Most likely culprit in my opinion is the bridges and voltage. I am guessing you are using the FSB for the bump up in CPU speed ? It would be very helpful if you post as much system info (ie mobo , ram , hd , video card, power supply). It will make answering your questions much easier. Also a side note to above before getting into heavy overclocking its a good idea to have the best cooling you can have as it provides a more stable and longer lasting overclock.
