ok im getting a 2nd wd 80gb special edition
and i want to put them in a raid 0 configuration
how would i go about doing this?
i have the system in my sig, and i also have a pci ide controller card,t aht i would rather not use

Im just guessing, but since I dont see any other IDE connectors on the board, I think it will only do SATA RAID0 ( at best ). Usually to do a RAID on IDE, it will have a secound set of connectors. Plus, the web site talks about raid0 in the "optional" SATA contoller section.
If they are PATA drives, you might have to use a RAID card. If you dont have the optional RAID controller, I think you will have to use the card.

Yeah you will need PATA to SATA converters in order to run those drives in raid 0. The NF7-S comes with one, but you will need 1 more. Your other alternative is to buy an pata raid controller.
