Did you clear the CMOS using the jumper after you flashed? I had to do that once when I was experimenting with different BIOS's on my K7D.

thx for the tip and help. i had clear the cmos, change power supply, pull out chip and swap between socket. i got same reset.
board wont boot. I have mail msi support and they will sent me a bios chip, however, i am getting k7d -l bios chip and i have
green version 1 k7d. would this cause problem???

thx again for the help.

I don't think that would cause a problem, since the -L and the non-L use the same BIOS.

if its just a standard ROM chip, it shouldn't be too hard, just pull at it from the edges, going back and forth so it comes up evenly, make sure not to bump any capacitors with your fingers. As for popping the new one in, make sure its lined up properly, then slowly push making sure not to bend any of the pins.
