Overclocking and BIOS rev.

I just finished building an extra LAN gaming box with a cheap mobo (ASRock K7VM4) and XP2500(locked), and as soon as I got it done, I cranked up the fsb to 200 and did a little testing in windows and everything was fine.

I realized 3 bios updates have been made since the board was boxed and I updated to the most recent version.

Now I can only boot at about 185fsb.

Could updating the bios have limited this or caused it not to boot at 200. I even think I got it to load windows at 215fsb before.

It certainly could. Thats a good reason not to BIOS update unless you have to. Not saying it will cure anything now, but you could always try reverting to the original.
