I have got into computers and did the dumb thing and bought a Gateway but with some computer schooling and some reading I was able to come across a device that would unlock The multipiler and fsb. Here is what I did I unlocked my Gateway 1gig amd processor,Then I went to www.plycon.com and ordered the GLODEN SLOCKET.... I then was able to bring my 1gig@1.375 and stable . there it is I just installed my WATER COOLING kit on my processor and am gona try to push it to 1.7 also using a pliter.. Hope fully it willl work.. Well Hope this helped some of us who got boards that are locked and have no jumpers or switches.

very nicely done! I have read a little bit about the golden socket... gateways aren't all that bad, unless you want to change them a lot... but that's why I build my own! :-)
