Hello all..........I just finished setting up and reloading my Win XP Pro on my new WD Raptors SATA RAID 0 :)
My question is: My RAID set that is booting is showing up as D: and my old drive that has XP loaded on as well, and my other data, an IDE Maxtor, is showing up as C:
Is there an easy way to swap the C: and D: designation?
I would like most all of my programs to default to my new Raptors as being C:
I have never been faced with this, so I dont know how to change them, if in fact they can be changed.

Any help would be appreciated!

change drive letter and paths.../

you might have to rename one of them to an arbitrary letter ('P', or 'H', or whatever) and then change it again once you've changed the other drive that had the designation you wanted for the other other drive. :D

deal with that last sentence!
You'll probably be able to figure it you once you get there.

Sorry, but you won't be able to do it. The drives are set as system drives. The only way to get the raid to be C drive is to reload. Disconnect all other hard drives before reloading. Remove all zip disks also.

I reloaded once with a zip disk in. When I tried to bench test my "C" drive, it took forever until the zip drive died!
