I've just connected an IDE harddrive (IBM 40GB)to IDE3, but when I look in device manager windows see's it as a SCSI drive. When I look in 'My Computer' the drive isn't there.
Any ideas??:(

bump :)
It's not a problem. The driver for many onboard RAID solutions will label the HDDs attached as SCSI, even when used as single drives.

Why cant I see the drive in my computer?
Have you partitioned and formatted the drive using Disk Management? It may need to either be initialized or have a signiture written there as well.
