Just wonder if theres any actual difference in the quality of these boards. Like I dont need all the extras of a max3 board and are considering a the new AI7 board. Will I have the same quality? will my cpu roughly overclock the same on a 865 board than a 875 board?

The AI7 has a new and better power circuit. Vdimm voltage works unlike the Max 3.......so I would (and am) pick the AI7

Is there anything new just around the corner yet, as in better boards with 865/875 chipset, or do you think nows is a good time to change from my IT7max2v2 to an AI7?...or is there even something newer and better next generation chipset a couple a months away from now or is it still 6 months away?
