Are the temp sensors just for the hard-drive, or are they normal temp sensors?

I put mine on the side of my CPU with thermal tape.Runs within
4° C of my BIOS reading on CPU temp. So I add 4° C to my Hardcano temp reading.Works for me. THE FANMAN

I've got the Hardcano II and the packaging clearly shows the sensors can be use on anything, I assume the Harcano 10 is the same.
