stupid question, IC7

does the abit IC7 have onboard lan? i look at abit's web site, they dont say it in the specs, but the picture of the back ports has a lan slot in it.

could anyone with an IC7 come out with the truth plz? i would really like to know.

No LAN unfortunately. I really wished it did though, especially for the price.

ya, it would have been awsome if it did have lan. it would have made my choice for either an IS7 or an IC7 a lot easier...

No LAN on the IC7, you need to step up to the IC7-G to get onboard LAN (Gigabit LAN).

yes, the LAN port is physically present but if you look closely at the board, the LAN chip is missing from its rightful place.

Any news of an updated version (for Prescott support)?

The only Abit mobos that officially support the Prescott is the IC7 Max3 and AI7.
