I can only overclock my p3 800e to 840mhz at 105fsb! I got an alpha p3125 on my cpu. I saw at the cpu database that people can reach over a gig. I have an ati rage 128xpert 32mb agp, soundblaser live, 256mb pc100 hsdram by mushkin, on the asus p3v4x mobo. What's the problem? My 600e reached 850mhz with no problem. Does this cpu suck? My computer just won't boot up to any higher fsb setting. Is it my video card? I wanna reach a gig, but couldn't do it with my 600e, and I thought the 800e could do it for sure. What's the problem?

Either your memory doesn't want to run any faster than 105Mhz, or your not shoving enough voltage up the pipe pressure the gate switching at the faster speed within the chip.

Hence - solutions are .......

1. Run SDRAM Ratio differently to run the memory slower than the FSB.

2. Up the voltage some and see if any more speed can be achieved.
