Hi all,
I have just installed my new burner and i have a problem.
After i read and write some disks the damn thing wont eject, it just sits there and hangs? I have not updated the firmware yet and It is connected to a lite-on dvd rom(master) as a slave via ide cable.
My other system spec's if this helps:

asus p4c800e
corsair twin xms 512's 3200
antec tp 480watt
p4 2.8 800

Thanks Evo

Some burning tools will validate the data recorded onto the disk after burning is complete nero is one of those if you have selected validate and a few others do it automaticly, IF this is the case you might need to wait a few minutes after burning is complete.

There is a verification tool if not mistaken but you have to select it. You would know if its verifying also since it reads both the harddrive and cd/dvd to double check data and takes quiet a while doing it to.

If anything make sure its turned off. If it is turned off make sure you update firmware. If that doesn't work reinstall the burning program and see if that works.
