Has anyone used artic silver 5? Is is good? I haven't been big on thermal materials until recently.

Very good stuff! I like AS-5 and Ceramique, both are a great choice.

Yeh, gota tube of as5, a bit more expensive but it sure beats that white stuff.

I heard AS5 is a wonderfuls stuff. Im right now using ceramique because I bought it but ceramique is great as well

using it right now. got it at a deal on [H] forums for 4.50 dollars shipped. just finished my watercooling setup, temp never goes beyond 40 degrees even when crunching SETI.

don't know about 5, but 3 sure works great!

5 is easier to use than 3 and seems to be around 3-5% more efficient (percentages based on crude observations, not controled experimentation).

I get better results with 5 over 3 as well, not much but you can tell. (same as above, no controlled experiments here either) :D
