I have a PIII 700E ordered and on its way soon along with 256 Meg PC133 Cas 2 Ram. I am going to put this on my BX6 R2. Hopefully I will be able to overclock this to at least 933mhz...hopefully more.
I am just wondering what you guys would recommend to burn-in the processor and how long to do it for.
Thanks Guys

I am about 4 or 5 weeks into the burn-in process now with my P3-650, I have 911 MHz STABLE... and am just beginning to get results @975MHz (runs for a while then locks in Windoze)...
Expecting results in the next 1-3 months, but I burn-in 24/7.
Good luck with yer new system!
There are several programs commonly used for burn in. Seti, Prime95, and CPUBurn are used a great deal. I have been using Seti myself. The duration fluctuates for different processors. It seems that 2 or 3 weeks running Seti whenever the machine isn't doing something else, or running Seti in the background during normal use usually gets things loosened up. www.octools.com has a good selection of utilities for many purposes- you might want to check them out.
