U should go into your system bios on the start-up and check to see whether there is soft menu ( 1, 2, 3??). using soft menu u can tweak most things on your motherboard. if that fails u shuld try Soft FSB. its a proggie allowing u to change the FSB to increase CPU speed and ****.

You need to increase the FSB, it may be refered to as "system bus" or "system clock" just search the bios around for it.

Try setting the cpu to 124fsb at 1.95v
set agp to 2/3
set pci to 1/4 or 1/3
and dissable "speed error hold"
you make your changes by the page up and page down buttons on your keyboard.
Is your ram up to spec?
at 124 frontside bus, you will be at 558mhz and most PIII450's will do that much
