When I try to log into our domain at work, Windows XP Pro freezes at the APPLYING COMPUTER SETTINGS screen. I can log on as ADMIN or any other user. Our server is Windows 2000 for Small Business' and there are only 2 users with XP on our network. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Just a guess, but I would imagine the reason XP is hanging (or at least appears to be hanging) at the "Applying Computer Settings" screen is because it's in the process of updating the Group Policies. Give the following Registry tweak a try (it lets you log on before this process is finished, and because of this...bootup time is much faster.) Start | Run | Type regedit and click OK | Expand the following branch in the Registry...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | policies | system
Either add or modify the following DWORD Value names under the above Key...
Value name...SynchronousMachineGroupPolicy
Value data...0
Hex Value...0x00000000 (0)
Value name...SynchronousUserGroupPolicy
Value data...0
Hex Value...0x00000000 (0) :)
