Hi. Wanted to pose this question about CPU temperature and overall stability with the Celeron II. Intel's specs indicate 80c as max operating temp. Several people on here have responded to some of my earlier posts stating that the Celeron actually starts to become unstable at around 50c. Is Intel's 80c max spec simply the most temp the CPU can handle without frying, while the actual temp at which the Celeron will become unstable is much lower?

Thank you.

That's it. Although the temperature at which instability occurs would be much higher without overclocking. It's a lot easier to recover from a stumble at a walking pace, than at a dead run!
