Changing voltage on GA-6VX7-4X

Has anyone successfully changed the voltage on a Gigabyte GA-6VX7-4X? There are empty pinouts for a jumper block on a rare version of the board. I've tried shorting the solder points with a bit of wire and tape, but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone have any better non-permanent ideas?

well, i did this last night for my GA-6bx7... it's not difficult and prelatively easy...
it only involves connecting a bit of wire to a few pins on the cpu. easy.
