mounting a heat sink on a heat sink?

This would be impossible for 1. And even if your rigged it up some way it would show no difference in temps or would make them higher.

It might be possible to epoxy another small heatsink or additional fins to a heatsink, depending on the type of heatsink. Results probably wouldn't be worth it though, especially considering the extra weight and size. I dunno, try it out and see what happens!

its not imposible people do something close to that for water chillers

the probelm is working it on to a cpu

and really i dont think it would do much good

u know how the heatsink usually has the fins on the side what if u attach heat sinks to the two end fins?

would it make anytype of difference i also don't see how it would get hotter .

if you did it like that you could solder them on to avoid the epoxy heat barrier...be interesting to try

or maybe not even maybe i can use a thermal adhesive and **** them on hehe
